Overview

crazy2048.com is a free 2048 H5 game site offering classic play, daily challenges, leaderboards, achievements and daily check-ins. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit and use the site, how we use it, and the rights you have.

Information we collect

Account information: when you choose to sign in with Google or GitHub, our sign-in service (Auth.js) receives your name, email address and avatar from that platform, used only to create and identify your account.

Game data: the scores you submit, your nickname, game mode, daily check-ins and achievement progress are stored in our database to power the leaderboards and your personal progress.

Guest identity: when you are not signed in, we assign you an anonymous ID via the h5-pid cookie (valid for two years, HttpOnly) so your check-ins and achievements keep accumulating.

Language preference: the NEXT_LOCALE cookie (valid for one year) remembers the interface language you picked.

Local storage: your all-time best score, sound preference and unfinished in-progress boards live only in your browser's localStorage and are never uploaded to our servers.

How we use this information

We use the information above only to provide site features such as sign-in, leaderboards, daily challenges, achievements and check-ins, and to prevent abuse of the score API (for example through rate limiting). We do not sell your personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Cookies and analytics

The site only sets the cookies required for its features. We do not use any advertising or behavioral tracking cookies.

In addition to h5-pid and NEXT_LOCALE mentioned above, Auth.js sets a session cookie (authjs.session-token) after you sign in to keep you signed in; it applies only to signed-in users and expires when you sign out or the session expires.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to measure traffic. It is cookieless and does not collect personally identifiable information.

Third-party services

Sign-in is provided by Google and GitHub OAuth; their handling of your data is also governed by their own privacy policies.

The site is hosted on Cloudflare Workers and the database is hosted by Turso (libSQL), so your data is processed and stored by these providers.

Retention and deletion

Account data is kept until you ask us to delete it; guest progress becomes unrecoverable once you clear your browser cookies. You can contact us at any time to access, correct or delete your personal information.

Changes to this policy

If we update this policy, we will publish the new version on this page and refresh the date above.
